Washington state stops net pen aquaculture in its waters. This directly affects primarily salmon and steelhead fisheries.

The above action, now becoming commonplace world-wide, is often related to environmental impact caused by massive dumping of thousands of tons of feed and ensuing feces into waters unable to consume or continuously transport the “fall-out”.  Ultimately, the result is low dissolved oxygen levels, stressed fish, and then “fish kills”.

Superior Aquaculture’s Floating Raceway Systems can eliminate the above problems while greatly improving the fish carrying capacity, growth factors, and bottom line.  100,000 Lbs. of healthy fish per floating raceway is surely more than enough to achieve all commercial production goals.  Add to that the capture of valuable settleable nutrients and the ability to farm in sheltered waters, and you have a highly profitable, environmentally friendly alternative.
