Having served in the U.S. military, we know what it means to “stand in line and wait” – but there was no “social distancing” then. Maybe you were “there”? If not, you may recently have, for the first time in your life, been forced to queue-up for food at your local grocery store – only to find the shelves barren of the items you needed.  Worse than that, this morning’s report from Bloomberg shows that “farmers have been panic buying” in an attempt to have enough feed for their cattle, hogs, dairy, and poultry. “Virtually all the mills contacted were out of feed”. None of the above is expected to bring any kind of a collapse, but it should be a message.

This should be a wake-up call for us all. Today, our food supply line is just moments away from a disaster. Most of the food that we routinely buy today is sourced and supplied by a handful of giant companies (many foreign controlled) shipping our food huge distances. Questions of quality, safety, and reliability are massive.

Fortunately, many parts of North America are blessed to have an abundance of surface water, including countless small “backyard” ponds. As a result of the above, Superior Aquaculture has now recommitted itself to provide its innovative fish and aquaponic farming technology in systems tailored to fit the following specific markets: (Please note: Initial efforts will be focused strictly on assisting those with adequate surface water.)

  1. Small farms

  2. Backyard ponds

  3. Survivalists

  4. Hobby farms

  5. Aquaponic Options

Our next report will detail some of these changes in our products and services.
